Hilvert Timmer

MsC, Dutch, has been a shamanic healer in the Andes-Amazon traditions for over 20 years. Together with his Bolivian/Brazilian wife, he practices the lore of Master Plants in the form of integral retreats, benefiting patients with various conditions, including physical/mental problems, addictions, confusion, anxiety, and almost everything else. Also, he is a tabaquero, Zen practitioner, Tarot-reader, dream-guide, sweat lodge-guide, Wicca initiated, integral therapist, guide in rites of passage, and plant medicine alchemist.

As well, he is an economist and anthropologist, with a Master’s in Cultural Anthropology of Religion, is a directive member of the Permanent Forum for Study, Research and Transdisciplinary and Ancestral Wisdom in Bolivia, representative for the Pagan Federation International in Bolivia, member of the Alliance for Consciousness and Entheogen Plants, and is co-owner of Quinta Conciencia – centre for Permaculture and Healing in the forest mountains in Bolivia.

He’s a key-speaker and author of anthropological-ethnobiological studies, for example, about the Andes Cosmovision, indigenous knowledge, healing with power plants, change of belief systems, studies about inner happiness, and more. The direction of many studies is to remember that “we are nature” and that it’s our task to learn how to take care of our bigger family, which includes all life forms.

For 10 years, he worked as the director of an international NGO in Bolivia, Peru and the Netherlands, where they focused their efforts on the improvement of life conditions among the indigenous peoples in the high Andes mountains. Since 2012 he’s co-owner of the Quinta Conciencia in the subtropics in the heart of Bolivia, a place of healing, teaching, study, enjoying life in nature, coming back to the roots of a simple and enriching life, in coherence and consciousness.
